@ CLICK HERE TO REGISTER The intention of this workshop is to  have each participant draft out a pattern for their choice of a Cape or Cloak, using a measurement worksheet which will be provided, and then to utilize the newly drafted pattern to construct either a Cape or Cloak for oneself. We will explore the construction of Medieval Clothing utilizing some modern sewing machine stitching, yet finishing with hand sewing using stitches from the period. This will give an outside appearance of having being entirely hand sewn. This approach gives better seam stability and shortens completion time while giving the garment an appearance of being completely hand sewn. It is recommended that participants be familiar with using a sewing machine and hand stitching. The workshop will provide needles and thread for handsewing and modern sewing machines for sewing seams. Necessary tools to complete all tasks will be available for participants use. Workshe
